Anita Stepano Ross
Anita Stepano Ross came to Australia as a Belorussian refugee at the age of four. Her family lived initially in Maldon. After completing Secondary school she (and brother) attended the Ballarat Art School, majoring in painting and sculpture. Anita ran her own Fine Art and Design business for some time. Eventually she made the sea change and settled in Kilcunda. She paints and draws all manner of subjects including; the nude form, pure abstraction and works inspired by the landscape around her. Anita uses a bright and breezy colour palette in her contemporary images. Her paintings ranges from almost POP ART to desolate seascapes and abstracted form.
